Sustainability Summit Africa 2025

The fifth annual Sustainability Summit Africa will take place on Tuesday, 16 September 2025, at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa. As the continent’s premier environmental, social and governance (ESG) event, it brings together policymakers, business leaders, and sustainability innovators to turn global climate ambitions into locally impactful action.

Organised in partnership with Deloitte and held as part of the Smart Procurement World Indaba, this year’s summit embraces the theme “Global Goals, Local Impact.” The programme will explore how global sustainability frameworks can be adapted to Africa’s unique socio-economic, geopolitical, and environmental realities—ensuring ESG strategies are not only visionary but grounded in the continent’s specific challenges and opportunities.
