Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC) 2025 will take place from 4–6 November at the Gran Via venue in Barcelona, Spain. As the world’s largest and most influential event focused on cities and urban innovation, SCEWC brings together government leaders, global companies, startups, and experts to accelerate the transformation of urban environments.
Organized by Fira de Barcelona under the theme “The Time for Cities,” the 2025 edition will be the biggest yet, hosting over 1,000 exhibitors and 25,000 attendees. This year’s spotlight will be on how Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies can serve as powerful tools in making cities more sustainable, efficient, and human-centered.
The event features a robust congress program with 600+ speakers across eight thematic tracks, including Enabling Technologies, Mobility, Governance and Economy, Infrastructure and Building, and Blue Economy. Key speakers include urban futurist Nikki Greenberg and tech strategist Kate O’Neill.
In addition to the main program, the event will house the Innovation Playground with nearly 350 startups, and once again co-host three parallel summits: Tomorrow.Mobility, Tomorrow.Building, and Tomorrow.Blue Economy, along with the Barcelona Deep Tech Summit.
