On September 25, 2025, in Belgrade, the 11th Social Innovation Forum, Serbia’s largest conference dedicated to social economy and innovation, was held under the slogan “Where Investment Meets Purpose”.
Organized by Smart Kolektiv with the support of Impact Europe, the European Commission, and Fondacija Sidro, the Forum gathered participants from across Serbia and the Western Balkans. Since its launch, the event has brought together more than 1,200 attendees from 17 countries, serving as a key regional platform for advancing social entrepreneurship and impact investment.
This year’s program featured sessions on national and EU policies for developing the social economy, financing opportunities for social enterprises, and corporate engagement in sustainability. Discussions also highlighted regional projects under the Invest for Change initiative, practical examples of community-driven entrepreneurship, and the growing importance of networks and partnerships.
Panels brought together representatives of international organizations, local civil society, financial institutions, and companies, while the accompanying BuySocial catalog showcased corporate gift options from social enterprises. The event concluded with the presentation of awards to companies supporting social entrepreneurship, followed by a networking session.
