Spring in the Air: Singapore Changi Named One of the World’s Best Airports to Find Love

As spring approaches, Singapore Changi Airport has earned an unexpected title: one of the world’s best places to meet the love of your life. In a new global ranking by aviation legal-tech firm AirAdvisor, Changi placed seventh in the inaugural Love Connection Score, which evaluates how likely airports are to create conditions for spontaneous real-world encounters. With an overall score of 7.45 out of 10 and a perfect 10 for passenger comfort and mood, Changi stands out not only for efficiency but for atmosphere.

The ranking also features major hubs including Istanbul Airport, Seoul Incheon International Airport, London Heathrow Airport, Dubai International Airport, John F. Kennedy International Airport and Tokyo Haneda Airport. Unlike traditional travel indices focused on punctuality or luxury, the Love Connection Score blends passenger volume, route diversity and the availability of shared social spaces. Known for the Rain Vortex and lush indoor gardens at Jewel, Changi’s design encourages travelers to slow down, linger and perhaps, in the spirit of the season, start a new connection.
