From October 8 to 10, 2025, Milan will host Sustainable Places 2025 (SP25) at the Monte Rosa 91 Conference Centre. Organized in collaboration with the Comune di Milano, the three-day conference will bring together professionals, policymakers, researchers, and industry leaders in design, architecture, construction, and the built environment to explore sustainable, resilient, and innovative solutions for urban spaces.

SP25 will feature thematic tracks and workshops covering construction innovation ecosystems, smart readiness indicators, circular economy solutions, decarbonisation strategies, energy communities, and the role of AI and digital twins in sustainable urban design. The program will also include sessions on data-driven approaches for cities, climate-resilient infrastructure, human-centred innovation, and next-generation technologies for the built environment.
Participants can expect a rich schedule of plenary sessions, workshops, paper presentations, and interactive discussions, supported by over 300-person amphitheater space, six fully instrumented meeting rooms, and dedicated networking areas. The forum will also include social programs such as an on-site aperitivo and a guided tour of Sforzesco Castle, offering opportunities for informal exchanges among delegates.
Sustainable Places 2025 provides a platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and networking, connecting local and international stakeholders to advance sustainable and inclusive practices in urban development.
