An accident involving two flying cars occurred during an air show rehearsal in the Chinese city of Changchun on September 16. According to local reports, one vehicle caught fire while attempting a vertical takeoff, while the second failed to complete its landing.
At least one person was injured in the incident and taken to hospital. Doctors say the injuries are not life-threatening. Bloomberg was among the first to report on the accident.
The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation. The manufacturer of the vehicles, Xpeng Aeroht, has so far declined to issue an official statement.
